This Kansas State Board of Cosmetology is charged with the regulation of the profession of cosmetology and its educational institutions.  The purpose of this regulation is to protect the health and safety of the general public as well as that of the licensees. This includes tanning and tattoo facilities.  No more than four members shall be of the same political party.
