The Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission is charged with administering, interpreting, and enforcing the Campaign Finance Act and laws relating to conflict of interests, financial disclosure, and the regulation of lobbying.  No member can have a history of holding a party office, elected official, Secretary, lobbyist, or vendor to the state.  There are 9 members with 2 being appointed by the Governor.  The Governor selects the chair of the commission.
