The Advisory Council on Aging analyzes the budget and provides feedback for improvement. Eleven members are appointed by the Governor and the President of the Senate, Minority leader of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and the Minority Leader of the House shall each appoint one member. The Governor selects the chair. According to statute, at least ½ of the members shall be 60 years of age or older.
