The following statement is from Governor Laura Kelly on the State Finance Council’s decision Friday to approve the certificate of indebtedness.
“I was glad to see my fellow State Finance Council members vote to pass the certificate of indebtedness this morning. This will ensure our teachers and state employees get paid without delay, and Kansans can get the resources they need as we continue on our road to economic recovery.”
