Governor Laura Kelly today toured schools in Olpe and Council Grove as part of the third and final week of her Back to Work, Back to School tour. Governor Kelly toured Council Grove Elementary School and talked with area school superintendents about how her administration can invest in schools and communities to provide Kansas kids with the best education possible.

Governor Kelly also toured Olpe High School and held a discussion with superintendents in the area about how her administration can best ensure the region’s schools can continue to recover from COVID-19.  

She also met with the Olpe High School women’s basketball team, men’s basketball team, and men’s football team, all of which won their respective 1A championship last year.
