Governor Laura Kelly reappointed Laurie Labarca of Wichita to the Wichita State University Board of Trustees.

The purpose of the board is to manage property, estates and funds given, transferred and pledged to Wichita State University.

“Since 2016, Laurie has been a strong leader for the WSU Board of Trustees,” Kelly said. “I have every confidence that she will continue to be effective in this role.”

The governor appoints the nine members to the board, with no requirements of political party affiliation or congressional district residence.
