Topeka, KS – Governor Laura Kelly announced today appointments to Kansas state boards, councils, and committees.

Kansas Board of Cosmetology

This Board is charged with regulation of the profession of cosmetology and its educational institutions.  The purpose of this regulation is to protect the health and safety of the general public as well as that of the licensees. This includes tanning and tattoo facilities.

State Library of Kansas Board

The mission of the board is to advocate for statewide library services and resources, and to encourage cooperation among libraries and promote and encourage innovative library services. The board promotes cooperation with the Kansas Board of Regents to ensure the inclusion of libraries on the KAN-ED network and continues the availability of statewide library reference resources.

Wichita State University Board of Trustees

The purpose of the Board is to manage property, estates, and funds given, transferred and pledged to Wichita State University.

Veterans Claims Assistance Program
