Governor Laura Kelly appointed Danielle Vequist to the Physical Therapy Advisory Council.

The purpose of the Council is to advise the Board of Healing Arts on examination and registration of physical therapists. The Governor appoints three licensed physical therapists who have at least three years of experience and are actively engaged in physical therapy in Kansas.

“The Council has an important duty of advising the Board on matters pertaining to physical therapy,” Kelly said. “Danielle’s qualifications and experience will be indispensable in that regard.”

Vequist, Wichita, a graduate of Wichita State University, is a licensed physical therapist. She works at the Sedgwick County Area Educational Cooperative in Goddard.
