Governor Laura Kelly appointed Holly Lofton, Lindsborg, to the Kansas State Fair Board.
The purpose of the board is to promote and showcase Kansas agriculture, industry and culture; to create opportunity for commercial activity; and to provide an educational and entertaining experience that is the pride of all Kansans.
“Lofton has a diverse professional background that will further enable the board to showcase Kansas,” Kelly said. “She will be a great contributor to this important effort.”
Lofton is the director of tourism for the Lindsborg Convention and Visitors Bureau. She also is a former member of Travel Industry Association of Kansas.
